Elephant trekking and rafting continued!

So the fish are in a feeding frenzy every time you throw food in..quite entertaining! :) we  paddled down the river for miles, watching the surrounding landscape, watching children with goggles diving for fish, the locals taking a dip to cool down. We stop for a swim in a wider section of the river, not very deep... Raining season has not yet begun, and the water level is very low... The bamboo growing at the sides of the river were close to 50 feet! Massive!! It is apparently put to good use, as later on we saw how they had made rafts with them.

Ice cold water and cokes awaited us once we got to our point of exit...nothing nicer than an ice cold coke, when it is so hot!

Back into our air conditioned minivan, went to a look out point near the Khao Sok National Park before heading on back to the hotel. Had a nice long swim before calling it a night! Enough excitement for one day!
